Dear Colleagues:
I hope to use this blog to supplement our online communication. Prior to each Marshall University Board of Governors meeting, I will use campus e-mail and this web space to alert you to the issues at hand. Once we get rolling, you will see the topics proposed for the agenda so MU faculty can post comments and preferences on how you wish for me to vote.
This will give us a public forum in which we can share ideas and concerns in addition to the open discussions within our Faculty Senate and shared governance structure. I am hoping I will receive meeting/agenda alerts with enough time for you to respond. In instances where this is not possible, I will still post the information as soon as I get it because it will be critical for us to discuss anything that may appear again on a subsequent agenda.
It’s easy! You can attach your comments to each issue by clicking on the “comment” link at the bottom of each topic. Please identify yourself and your department, and remember to always be kind when responding to others’ opinions.
